COOLING TOWER
heat rejection, perfected.
AirTech Engineering supplies high-efficiency Cooling Towers for complete process-cooling and HVAC solutions. Available in FRP induced-draft and forced-draft configurations, our towers reliably reject heat even in peak Indian summer conditions — protecting your chillers, compressors, and process equipment.
From small package units to large field-erected towers, we engineer, supply, install and service them — with genuine spares for fills, drift eliminators, fans and motors. Each tower is sized to your specific heat load and site conditions for optimal energy efficiency.
HOW A COOLING TOWER WORKS
evaporation does the heavy lifting.
Hot Water Enters
Warm return water from your chiller, compressor, or process equipment enters the tower at the top via distribution nozzles or troughs.
Fill Media Contact
Water cascades over structured PVC fill media, breaking into thin films and droplets that maximise surface area for air contact.
Evaporative Cooling
Fans draw or push ambient air through the fill. A small percentage of water evaporates, absorbing latent heat and dramatically reducing the bulk water temperature.
Drift Elimination
Drift eliminators capture water droplets entrained in the exhaust air stream, preventing water loss and complying with Legionella control guidelines.
Cold Water Returns
Cooled water collects in the basin at the bottom and is pumped back to the chiller or process — completing the closed-loop circuit.
BUILT FOR INDIA’S CLIMATE
reliable cooling, every season.
FRP Construction
Fibre-reinforced plastic body resists corrosion, UV degradation and chemical attack — ideal for India's harsh climate and industrial environments. No painting or rust treatment required.
Energy-Efficient Fans
Low-noise, high-efficiency axial fans with aerodynamic blade profiles move maximum air volume at minimum power — reducing operating costs by up to 30% versus conventional designs.
Low Maintenance Design
Easily accessible fill packs, drift eliminators, and basin for routine cleaning. Gear-driven or direct-drive fan options with heavy-duty bearings for extended service intervals.
Both Draft Types
Available in induced-draft (fan on top, draws air up through fill) and forced-draft (fan at base, pushes air through fill) configurations — each suited to different layout and space constraints.
Custom Sizing & Engineering
Every tower is engineered to your specific heat load (kW or TR), design wet-bulb temperature, and cold water temperature target. We handle the thermal calculation, supply, and installation end-to-end.
Genuine Spares & AMC
We stock genuine replacement fills, drift eliminators, fan blades, motors, and distribution nozzles. Annual Maintenance Contracts available with scheduled cleaning, inspection, and emergency response.
