An After Cooler is the first piece of compressed-air treatment equipment installed right after the compressor discharge — and it does the heavy lifting that every downstream filter and dryer counts on. Compressed air leaves a screw or reciprocating compressor at 80°C to 120°C, saturated with hot moisture. If that hot, wet air enters your line untreated, it overloads your dryer, floods your filters, corrodes your pipework and rains condensate at every drain point.

Our Air-Cooled After Coolers use a high-efficiency finned-tube heat exchanger with axial cooling fans to drop the air temperature down to within 5–10°C above ambient — knocking out up to 70% of the moisture as bulk condensate before the air ever reaches your dryer. No cooling water lines, no plumbing, no maintenance overhead. Just plug-and-play heat rejection.

When your plant pushes high CFM, sits in a hot ambient environment, or already has a cooling-water loop, the Water-Cooled After Cooler is the right choice. Built around a robust shell-and-tube heat exchanger with compressed air flowing through the tube side and cooling water on the shell side, it achieves a much closer approach temperature of just 3–5°C above the cooling-water temperature — meaning drier, cooler discharge air, every cycle.

Because cooling water carries heat away far more efficiently than air, water-cooled units are compact for their capacity, virtually silent, and remove up to 80% of moisture as bulk condensate right at the source. They pair seamlessly with cooling towers and chiller loops you may already have installed for other process equipment.
