REFRIGERATED AIR DRYER
clean, dry air — always.
A Refrigerated Air Dryer removes moisture from compressed air by cooling it to around +3°C, condensing the water vapour into liquid and draining it away before the air re-warms and travels downstream. The result is clean, dry air that protects your pneumatic tools, control valves, instruments and finished product from rust, scale and contamination.
Available in standard low-pressure and high-pressure variants (working pressure up to 40 bar), each dryer is sized precisely to your flow rate and pressure. We back every unit with expert installation, genuine refrigerant spares and ongoing AMC service support.
HOW A REFRIGERATED DRYER WORKS
cool it, condense it, drain it.
Pre-Cooling (Air-to-Air)
Hot, wet compressed air first passes through an air-to-air heat exchanger, where it is pre-cooled by the cold, dry air leaving the dryer — recovering energy and reducing the refrigeration load.
Refrigeration Cooling
The air enters the air-to-refrigerant evaporator and is chilled to a stable +3°C dew point. At this temperature the water vapour can no longer stay in gaseous form and condenses into liquid droplets.
Moisture Separation & Drain
A high-efficiency demister separator collects the condensed water and discharges it through an automatic drain valve — removing up to 99% of liquid moisture with zero air loss.
Re-Heating & Delivery
The cold dry air flows back through the air-to-air exchanger, warming up again to prevent condensation on the outside of downstream pipework, and exits ready for use — clean, dry and stable.
BUILT TO RUN
round the clock.
Every AirTech refrigerated dryer is constructed with corrosion-resistant copper or stainless-steel heat exchangers, a hermetically sealed compressor and environmentally friendly R-407C / R-134a refrigerant. A digital dew-point indicator lets your operators verify performance at a glance.
Consistent dryness in every season, summer or monsoon, without freezing.
Generously sized exchangers keep pressure loss below 0.2 bar — saving energy.
Models rated up to 40 bar for PET blowing, laser cutting and special process air.
Electronic timer / zero-loss drain expels water automatically — no manual purging.
WHY CHOOSE AN AIRTECH DRYER
performance you can measure.
99% Moisture Removal
Reliably removes liquid water and lowers the pressure dew point to +3°C, protecting valves, cylinders, solenoids and instruments from corrosion and malfunction.
Energy-Saving Design
The air-to-air pre-cooler recovers energy and cuts refrigeration power. Optional energy-saving (cycling) control switches off the compressor at part load for further savings.
Compact, Skid-Mounted
Small footprint, plug-and-play installation. Just connect inlet, outlet and power. Castor-mounted options available for portable applications.
Digital Dew-Point Display
Built-in digital gauge shows real-time dew point and operating status, so operators can confirm the dryer is performing correctly at any moment.
Eco-Friendly Refrigerant
Uses R-407C / R-134a non-ozone-depleting refrigerant in a hermetically sealed circuit — reliable, leak-free and compliant with modern environmental norms.
Low Maintenance
No desiccant to replace, no consumable elements. Routine care is limited to cleaning the condenser and checking the auto-drain — minimal lifetime cost.
